Galaxy A35 vs. Galaxy A55 Features
Design and Screen
At first glance, both smartphones have a lot in common on the outside, but Samsung has refined one more than the other. The Galaxy A55 is slightly thinner than its competitor. However, it weighs a bit more because of the construction material: It’s made with glass instead of the polycarbonate used in the Galaxy A35. This finish makes it more premium.
When it comes to the screen, the Galaxy A55 offers a slightly higher resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels compared to the Galaxy A35’s 2,340 x 1,080 pixels). It also has a higher maximum brightness: 550 nits (the Galaxy A35 has 500 nits).
Processor
As expected, this is another area where there are differences. The Galaxy A55’s hardware is a step up from the Galaxy A35. The first has an Exynos 1480 chip, and the second has an Exynos 1380. Although the Exynos 1480 has more raw power, both chips are octa-core with 5 nm architecture.
Camera
There’s nothing on the back but a lot on the front. This phrase sums up the difference between the cameras of the two devices. On the back, the only difference is in the wide-angle: 12 MP on the Galaxy A55 vs. 8 MP on the Galaxy A35.
However, the front cameras are quite different. The Galaxy A35 has a 13 MP camera, while the Galaxy A55 has a 32 MP camera. The advantage of the more premium smartphone is indisputable.
