If you have more than $150,000 to spare and appreciate powerful computers, you might find Titan Computers’ latest offering interesting. The company recently introduced the A900, a desktop computer with impressive performance. The device has been designed to handle demanding tasks, especially with artificial intelligence in mind.

The level-entry model costs $7,975. It includes two AMD EPYC Genoa 9124 processors with 32 cores, 64 GB of DDR5 memory, a 4 GB DDR6 Nvidia Quadro T400 graphics card, and a 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD for storage. Additionally, it comes with a certified 1,000-watt power supply, among other features.

The Bigger the Power, the Bigger the Price

Titan allows customers to customize every component of the rig, starting with the tower. An appropriate chassis for two power supplies costs an additional $495. Meanwhile, high-performance fans, which effectively regulate temperature while maintaining quiet operation, add nearly $80 to the overall budget.

At the processor level, upgrading to two AMD EPYC Genoa 9684X processors with 192 cores (2.55 GHz, 3.7 GHz Turbo) will cost $14,832. Additionally, a liquid cooling kit, complete with all its components, is priced at $690. If you wish to upgrade the RAM to 6,144 GB, you’ll need to invest in server modules that cost $104,336.

When it comes to graphics, there are several ambitious options available. For professional use, you can invest more than $17,000 in two Nvidia Quadro RTX 6000 cards, each with 48 GB of GDDR6 and liquid cooling. Alternatively, there are GeForce options available, such as two 24 GB RTX 4090 cards for $6,232.

If you decide to enhance the computer’s storage capabilities, you’ll have to pay $2,355 extra. This is the cost of two 8 TB Corsair XT P41 drives. The tower can accommodate two additional drives, which means the overall cost will double.

Customers will also need to provide the appropriate power supply depending on the configuration they choose. Each certified 1,650-watt power supply costs $208. Additionally, you can upgrade other components, like network communication, and add optical disk drives and SSD memory readers.

The operating system is a crucial aspect of the Titan unit. Fortunately, users won’t need to pay for Windows 11 Pro, as it’s already included. However, if you opt for the Workstation version, it’ll cost an additional $309. The device is also compatible with various Linux distributions, including Ubuntu, Fedora, and CentOS.

It’s worth noting that the A900 computer targets a specific audience. The most advanced configuration can cost around $157,000. To put that into perspective, this amount is enough to purchase a BMW M8 Competition or a Tesla Model S Plaid, with some money left over for additional expenses.
