The Thinnest and Lightest Chromebook
The Galaxy Chromebook Plus is a laptop that weighs 2.58 pounds and is 11.8 millimeters thick. As such, it weighs less than the Book 4 Pro with a 14-inch 3K AMOLED touchscreen but has an equivalent thickness.
The screen is bigger: It has a 15.6-inch OLED panel. The processor is an Intel Core 3 100U (Raptor Lake-R), with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The Quick Insert key is currently exclusive to this Galaxy Chromebook Plus. However, Google says it will be available on more models starting next year.
Users now have quick access to generative AI. The Gemini button generates images directly, corrects text, and adds emojis and GIFs. It also helps perform simple calculations or search for files in Drive. Depending on the app users utilize, the key gives them quick access to one or the other features.
Galaxy Chromebook Plus: Price and Availability
The new Samsung Galaxy Chromebook will begin shipping in October. It will cost $699.
With the purchase of a Chromebook Plus, Samsung will include a one-year 2 TB Google One AI premium plan.
