Elon Musk using Starlink to defy a Brazilian court’s order to block X in the country is the latest example of how he’s become a disruptive force in global geopolitics, surpassing the traditional role of business tycoons. He’s more than that.
Musk’s influence stems not only from his wealth but also from his control of companies that complement each other to enhance his impact, particularly those he wholly owns, such as X, Starlink, Neuralink, and xAI.
What’s more, Musk’s fusion of technological, financial, and media power renders him an unparalleled geopolitical player. He has the ability to sway international conflicts, superpower relations, and discussions on global freedom of expression.
