The Only Viable Option Is the Fitbit Versa

In 2023, Fitbit recalled all Ionic watches due to safety concerns related to burn hazards and offered refunds to buyers. As a result, the Ionic is no longer available in stores.

If you come across a Fitbit Ionic in a store, it’s advisable not to purchase it, given that it’s been proven hazardous to health. Additionally, the model was discontinued. Fitbit hasn’t released any new versions, while the Versa model has become the evolving alternative.

In the end, the Fitbit Versa is the only choice between the two. Although Fitbit is now owned by Google, it continues to offer a wide range of devices. The Versa features the most advanced technology, having undergone several generations of improvements over time.
