The first change is the reduction of the bezels by 16%, bringing the panel closer to the edge. The second change is the implementation of Actua technology, which increases the maximum brightness from 1,000 nits to 2,000 nits. This improvement makes it easier to view content in broad daylight. Additionally, both watches have a pixel density of 320 ppi and a 60 Hz refresh rate. They also feature a side button and crown for interacting with menus.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 powers the device, while a Cortex M33 manages lighter tasks. In addition, the smartwatch is equipped with 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, and runs on Wear OS 5.0, which appears to be a blend of Wear OS and Fitbit OS.

Moving on to the battery, the 41 mm Pixel Watch 3 has a 307 mAh capacity, while the larger 45 mm model boasts 420 mAh. The smaller model provides up to 24 hours of battery life with the screen always on and can be fully charged in 60 minutes. On the other hand, the 45 mm model offers the same battery life and can be fully charged in 80 minutes. Both models can last up to 36 hours in battery saving mode, according to Google.
