San Jose once again hosted Samsung’s first major conference of the year, following its CES 2025 presence. The company invited leading tech media to showcase its latest devices, including the Samsung Galaxy S25 lineup. Samsung also shared surprises, such as an AR headset and a brief teaser of the Galaxy S25 Edge.

With the event now concluded, here’s a recap of everything Samsung unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked 2025.

All the News from Galaxy Unpacked 2025

Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+

Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25+. Samsung’s new flagship phones are evolutionary, not revolutionary—building on the strengths of the Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, delivering slightly more power and efficiency. While much of the hardware remains consistent, the real improvements lie in software.

Samsung’s One UI 7 introduces advanced AI tools, including Galaxy AI enhancements. The S25+ stands out with a larger size, better resolution, and a bigger battery compared to the S25.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Samsung’s flagship Ultra model has undergone subtle but impactful refinements. It now boasts a slightly less angular design, a slimmer and lighter profile, and top-tier hardware, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor.

Other standout features include a Corning Gorilla Glass Armor 2 display, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, and AI-driven tools for photography and video. Video enthusiasts will appreciate the new ability to record in LOG format.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Samsung surprised attendees by briefly showcasing the Galaxy S25 Edge at the end of the event. This ultra-thin, mysterious smartphone features only two cameras, setting it apart from other models in the S25 series. While Samsung shared no technical details, the device has piqued curiosity, with more information expected later this year.

Project Moohan

Project Moohan. Samsung also unveiled its collaboration with Google on AR glasses powered by Android XR, dubbed Project Moohan. While the project is still in its early stages, attendees got a first look at the device. Though the heatseat was on display, Samsung didn’t allow hands-on interaction, leaving many details unanswered.

One UI 7. Finally, Samsung revealed One UI 7, its latest user interface update, which integrates enhanced Galaxy AI capabilities. Key features include call transcription, Gemini as a new native assistant (coexisting with Bixby), upgrades to Circle to Search, and new audio suppression and editing tools.
