In this post, we break down how to access Android 15’s Easter egg. The process is straightforward: All you need is a device running the latest version of Google’s operating system. Each version of Android features a unique Easter egg, even after manufacturers apply their own customized skins. It’s always fun trying to discover it.

What’s the Android 15 Easter Egg?

For years, every version of Android has included an Easter egg–a secret interactive element. Easter eggs can range from just the Android logo with some decoration to a minigame that users can enjoy.

Because it’s an Easter egg, this feature is hidden within the settings and isn’t a readily accessible app. To experience it, you’ll first need to locate and launch it before you can start playing around with it.

Like Android 14’s Easter egg, the Android 15 Easter egg is a minigame where you must manage a spaceship and successfully land it on a planet. Once you land, you’ll have to plant a flag on the planet. However, the game is challenging. There are multiple planets where you can land, but their locations are hidden.

Next, we’ll walk you through the simple process of accessing the Android 15 Easter egg. Just follow the following steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
  2. Go to the About Phone section.
  3. Tap on Android Version.
  4. Once you’re in the Android Version section, tap the version number at the top several times.
  5. This will reveal the Android 15 logo.
  6. Press and hold your finger on the Android 15 logo. Keep it held until the spaceship minigame launches.
  7. The exploration simulator will start.

To navigate in the simulator, slide your finger across the screen to indicate the direction you want to move. Be cautious when approaching a celestial body: You’ll need to accelerate away from it to slow down. The landing process can be tricky, so be prepared.
