We’ll explain how to create videos using Adobe Firefly, an AI tool that allows you to generate images and videos from text prompts. Simply describe what you want to see, and you’ll get the results within seconds.
Free AI Videos with Adobe Firefly
To get started, visit the official Adobe Firefly website. You can sign up for free and access some features at no cost.

Once you’re on the main Adobe Firefly page, click on the Image option to the left of the search box. Next, select Video. In the text field, enter the prompt to tell the tool what you’d like to see in the video. Then, click Generate.

This will take you to the video generation page, where a video based on your request will be created within a few seconds. On the left side of the screen, you’ll find several settings to configure the result. At the bottom, a text field lets you add additional prompts.

Under General Settings, you can select the shot size and camera angle for the video. Other options allow you to specify the type of motion you want in the clip.
How Many Videos Can You Create for Free With Adobe Firefly?
Unfortunately, Adobe Firefly only allows you to create two videos for free. The company’s website doesn’t provide details on the exact number of free generative credits available; it only mentions that they’re limited. Based on my testing, I was able to produce just two videos before getting a message to upgrade to a paid version.
If you’re satisfied with the results and wish to use this tool regularly, you’ll need to subscribe to one of the paid plans. The Standard plan costs $9.99 per month and includes 2,000 credits to create 20 videos, each up to 5 seconds long, each month. The Pro plan costs $29.99 per month and allows you to make 70 videos of 5 seconds each per month.
